Did you know that Borges tells of an ancient heretical religious sect (fantastorical? I can't remember) called the Speculari, who believed that for every man there existed an "inverse" image of him in Heaven? The more one sinned on earth, the holier his counterpart in Heaven behaved. Therefore, they were convinced that in order for their celestial images, the true ones, to achieve Beatitude, they had to exhaust all possible sins on earth and commit every wickedness. I remembered this while reading the first sentence of your review. By any chance, is that Abba Eban (was he?) one of them?

I'm sorry, but my reference to Bondi was not casual. In fact, at this point I would ask the symmetrical question: if Silvio had not "given it" to Sandro, what would the latter have written instead of poems?

Schizoid, what do you think Dante would have written instead of the Divine Comedy if Beatrice had given herself to him? At most, a volume of poems secretly dedicated to her in the style of Sandro Bondi?

Clearly, I assume that you are very, very, very, very young (lucky you!!)

The student demonstrates a superficial and factual knowledge of Dante's work. Clichés and overused phrases in literary criticism (you copied from Bignami, huh??) seamlessly permeate the lines of their essay. And let's admit it, I am a believer, and if it really must be, atheism is a destination, not a starting point. Failed!! ;-)

What the c... have I written!!! I'll try again: "I admit that even an overly twisted person worse than a Corinthian capital, and a lover of esotericism like me, couldn't understand the meaning of this review. Do you mean to say that it caused you a lightning-fast split personality? So, do you like it or not?? Anyway, I’ll give you 5 out of trust, sooner or later I’ll figure it out!!!"

I admit that even an overly convoluted person worse than a Corinthian capital, and a lover of esotericism like me, couldn't understand the meaning of this review. Are you perhaps saying it caused you a lightning-fast split of personality? In short, do you like it or not?? Anyway, I'll give you a 5 on trust; sooner or later I'll understand it|||

I never managed to listen to the first one completely. Anyway, I'll give it a try.

Perhaps it’s because, when one becomes an adult,
the body has grown in size but the soul has not (despite what Hofstadter always says), and at times it starts to wither.
Maybe that’s why we feel increasingly alone and misunderstood in an ever-expanding space.
That sometimes, in the worst case, we call the Universe.
And we feel unhappy and disgusted by almost everything around us, except for a very few things and people.
But then it happens that there are younger folks who have left, and who would love to have back their old nickname, or even a new one, to return to talking about this crap surrounding us, about corrupt politicians, about values that are going to hell, to get angry, and to joke around with others in this vast virtual Social Network that is life.
Let’s not be discouraged.
Hello, to all of you, nicknames ended up in Paradise.

I must say the cover is amazing, a conceptual regression to infinity à la Escher. Hats off. Definitely worth a listen.
