Hi Macaco. I love Genesis (can you believe that even though I had all their remastered versions, I bought the box set with all their CDs + Bonus tracks, etc. from the Gabriel era a while back). However, I believe that, from a musical value perspective, the early KC from the first 5/6 years are from another planet. Regarding this album, what I find "supernatural" is how it manages to bring together two pieces like the one you mentioned, Fracture, and Trio (in short, the despair of hell and the serene melancholy of paradise). Let's just say that I find the early KC "disturbing." One last note, the title, for those who don't know, is taken from Under the Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas. Try reading the pages of this book while listening to Trio!

Wow, look at me. So, I repeat: Of Massimo Volume, the piece I absolutely prefer is this one ;-), it always almost makes me shed a tear...

Who remembers the famous gaffe of "Spillo" Altobelli when he was asked about his coming on the field to replace Ciccio Graziani? When he said, "I was ready on the bench, then luckily (sic) Graziani got injured and I came onto the field"? Players from another era, now everyone is so composed and diplomatic...

Enbar, don't take it personally. Perhaps very simply, those who weren't there can't understand ;-)

Thank you Zanna, your definition "listening to music in a dreamy way rather than in a technically sterile one" is wonderful. You have fully captured the hidden meaning (perhaps even to myself) of my philosophizing. PS. Just to clarify, this stuff was not conceived as a review but as an editorial on the limits and meaning of creativity and originality. Maybe I should have waited for it to become one, or maybe not...

Hi Geo, you’re always too nice to me (and you keep ā€œunderstanding meā€) I take this opportunity to remind you that, not just for this, I love you a lot (as much as it may matter to you…) and that as long as I live on deb (even if it’s in jumps) I’ll keep doing it ;-)
