I love the Beach Boys from Pet Sounds and Smile, but also from other albums like Sunflower/Surf's Up. "Til I Die" is a little-known but wonderful song. Besides Brian Wilson's work, I adore some solo tracks by Dennis Wilson. For a long time, I was obsessed with finding the best modern band that could evoke them in a worthy way (I'll give you some names later, for now I'll listen to your suggestion). Bye.

I've always found LC's early voice soft and unique, the sound of a caress. The dark and deep tone of recent times, while just as expressive, has never thrilled me, especially in comparison to the first. And this holds me back from listening to his latest albums. But maybe I'll give this last one a chance. Nice review.

Anyway, for me, prog is that kind of music similar to what was called prog in the '70s, trivial as it may sound, but that's how I feel. The prog attitude is something else. These might have a prog attitude but they don't do prog (and they have, in my opinion, nothing to do with the KC).
