Wow, I didn’t know that! The director is the one from The Usual Suspects? He really changed genres since his first (great) film.

First of all, the votes. After that, if I come up with anything smart to say (for example about the somewhat conspiracy-oriented premise of your writing that I don't agree with), I'll review it. P.S. I absolutely adore this album, and I consider Barrett a true genius. Portraying him as just any Neo from The Matrix or, in general, a savior of humanity crucified and sacrificed for the good of the System seems too much to me.
Boney M. Take the Heat Off Me

With reference to the above, such a high rank for a review on Boney M can only confirm that the community has turned into a geriatric ward... I propose to introduce quota 100 to make room for new and young blood. I think it's necessary to get out of this crisis period and help the growth of the site. That's what I said. I'm out 😁

The Boney M were nothing but human Rockefellers??? Incredible! What news you’ve given me! Anyway, nothing was more intriguing and sinful than the sleeve of a Cerrone vinyl. Second only to Corinne Clery on the cover photo of the 45 rpm of Histoire d’O...

It's a fantastic album. With twilight atmospheres of incredible charm. A stream of musical consciousness with a melancholic flavor that revitalizes. When I listen to it, I imagine all the members of the "band" playing and singing, following their thoughts around a fireplace in an old cottage in the English countryside. In the CD version I own, there are also two songs (the other pieces can't really be defined as such), one of which (fitter stoke has a bath) is, in my opinion, a masterpiece.

One last thing about Debaser, there was already a great (and positive) review of this album here Fa Niente - Giorgio Poi - Recensione di MikiNigagi

I am fascinated by these characters who can make an entire album by themselves, like this one (I read that he played and recorded the album in an abandoned post office in East Berlin (here's a nice interview Avviso di reindirizzamento playing all the instruments, especially the entire rhythmic base which is truly remarkable. Many tend to snub and turn their noses up at people like Poi simply because they belong to a category (the new Italian indie) that is overly inflated and full of real fakes, but then again, in England, it’s even worse with next big things produced in industrial quantities.

"An emotion is everything in life, and when you are dead, it's over" (Vinicio Capossela at the end of Bardamu, from Canzoni a Manovella).. There you go, I’ve said it all, except that I asked my daughter if she wanted to come with me to Bari for the concert of .... Calcutta, and she replied just like your daughter. I know, I’m talking about Calcutta, but what can I do..

Hi @[mrbluesky], can you satisfy my curiosity? But are you alfama? Because some time ago I started playing detective and convinced myself that alfama was buzzinfly because both had the habit of not putting a space after punctuation marks (which should be there, see here, otherwise it seems like the final dot is a car, the first in line, that suddenly braked and all the words ended up crashing into each other... 404 Not Found Did I miss the mark? 😂

Listened a bit. Nice pieces, very well orchestrated with a strong sense of déjà vu. Good recommendation anyway for me who loves the Beach Boys.
