You have my utmost admiration. I lack the classical musical knowledge to fully grasp your reviews, but I felt I should tell you.

On the other hand, they mention the Genesis album Wind and Wuthering; the cover is very beautiful, just like the review. I can't help but listen to it.

But who told you this story? Where did you read it? There’s no trace of it on the web, his name is only used to laugh at and disgrace him. Did Giuseppe tell you before he was killed? Anyway, it’s beautiful (besides being very sad), truly.

Melodies? Here we are in the realm of killer melodies... I believe Bolan's melodic sense is nearly unreachable; he is the benchmark for anyone attempting to write melodies infused with the beauty (and difficulty) of youth. The first ones that come to mind are the early B&S (funny enough, their label in the beginning was Jeepster...), just listen to a track like this one, worthy of the melodiousness of a Marc Bolan

I was also struck when I read about the incident (him dead, his wife at the wheel safe), my review on The Slider can confirm that. When I discovered Bolan's music (and its influences in much music that followed, including that of the Flaming Lips but even in certain things by Mark Linkous's Sparklehorse, Telegram Sam vs Sick of goodbyes), I immediately felt a strong attraction. A great one.

Confess... From the way you talk about it with great "technical abundance," you seem like a "literature professional." That's true, isn’t it? Let's say like @lector...
