Beautiful, beautiful. Anyway, the sensuality, serenity, and "sweetness" of certain things, those (very few) I know of Gainsbourg, do not surprise me that they could fascinate someone who has spent their life with the dark world of Nick Cave. Darkness is simply the absence of light, which makes them practically the same thing... P.S. It has nothing to do with it, but the reference to gitanes reminded me of this stuff (beautiful for me, and in a way a bit Gainsbourg-like)
