From what I've heard, a lot of form and little substance.

Anyway, damn, thanks for the advice but the rap I've tried to listen to has usually not impressed me (with a few exceptions, see early Beck, Caparezza) nor has it moved me at all. Cremonini, in his own way, incredibly enough, does in certain (most) tracks on this album. I'm done.

A curiosity, CAZ, what do you find interesting in 69 Love Songs? I’ve never been able to listen to all three CDs in full. Yet everyone considers it a masterpiece. As I’ve already stated, I enjoy changing my mind.

Holy moly, ajejebrazorf, I really like Trout Mask Replica too (Here she comes walkin', Looking like uh zoo, Hello Moon Hello Moon...) with those guitars that sound like drums, the drums that sound like guitars, etc, etc!!!! Why don’t you write a review?

Nan-in, a Japanese master of the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a visit from a university professor who had come to question him about Zen. Nan-in served tea. He filled the professor's cup and continued to pour. The professor watched the tea overflow, and then he could no longer restrain himself. "It’s full. No more can fit!" "Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen if you do not first empty your cup!"

Listen, oh my, the problem is that there are still some people who, unlike the majority, like to change their minds about others and their worth (not necessarily for the better).

Speaking of Progressive, I would recommend the latest by The Tangent.

Regarding what Massimof said, namely "there are some of the most despicable fakes of alternative grunge garage rock out there, even worse than Cremonini himself," I can't help but think of the Vibrazioni. For these guys too, I stepped out of my ivory tower of "cultured" music and bought their album. I assure you, the banality of the music and lyrics on their latest album is something that personally causes me physical discomfort. And then, in a radio interview, I heard an extremely competent journalist praising Sarcina for the originality of the CD's packaging (a graphic emulation of a 33 RPM record). And he was there, puffed up and accepting all the compliments for something that was copied outright from the reissues of Scott Walker's albums (Angelica is one of Walker's songs). At least little Cesare openly admits (just think, quoting Goethe) that he was inspired by others and frankly acknowledges that this is the best he can do.
