Luzzatto Fegiz has praised this record?? Then I need to listen to it before judging it.

I don't really agree with Misterno's analysis. I've heard things about the latest Nino D'angelo that are truly worthwhile. For me, as I said before, D'Alessio is a very bad copy, with a distinct Neapolitan accent, of Claudio Baglioni.

Well, there’s an advantage to being like this character up here (I’m not talking about Gigi D'Alessio). His brain has gone so mushy that the world will only come to him as a faint and indistinct noise, and his ears will never be disturbed or burdened by certain types of things (now I’m talking about Gigi D'Alessio).

Especially with that subtle little smile that seems to say, "I'm making all of you fools, guys."

I really liked this album on the first listen; it seemed very unique and innovative to me. Full of original finds. And I thought it wasn't fair to think of Gigi D'Alessio as a terrible copy, with a pronounced Neapolitan accent (an accent that I usually adore), of the early Claudio Baglioni. But then I realized that I hadn't even turned on the amplifier of the stereo... Still, he is a great artist, come on.

No, "metallurgico" is not my field. In fact, my field is usually space. Currently, I am working on the development of ground/space segment monitoring systems for satellite navigation systems. In the past, I worked for the International Space Station and for Earth observation satellite systems.

I agree. Indeed, "if one goes too far" is really ugly, "if" is used, while "provided that" can work. But I'm not sure that if = provided that. Probably not. Anyway, some time ago I intended to open a club for the protection of the subjunctive. Do you want to be a founding member?

PS. I am a computer scientist, not an Italian professor.

misterNo, if one rightfully positions oneself in defense and protection of the Italian language, which is so often "violated," one must be truly certain of what one says. It seems to me that the incriminated sentence is perfectly correct from a syntactic point of view. In fact, your imperfect subjunctive would be right if it were preceded by a present conditional, but it is wrong if preceded by a present indicative. In short, it is correct to use it only as indicated below: "It is music that WOULD ATTEMPT to strike the listener from behind: deceiving them with its immediacy, with the calmness of the tones and sounds, only to then overturn their certainties, should one PUSH beyond the notes."
