Genesis Shepperton - The 16mm Film

For Punisher and DaveJon: I remember that when I arrived at the concert, there was Tony Banks and Peter Gabriel (the latter still in civilian clothes) having a heated discussion. Since my English is limited, I couldn't catch what they were saying, but it didn't seem too friendly. Maybe that's why their faces looked tense. I also remember that while the others were more or less helping to set up the equipment on stage, Gabriel only appeared now and then (probably he was arranging the costumes in the dressing room). The other thing I remember is that it was a rainy day and I was 8 years old...

But why so much hostility against these guys (it's already happened in the other reviews on deb)? They might be a bit verbose, but to say that this album deserves a 2 and a 1 seems exaggerated to me.

A group that was ENORMOUSLY influenced by SB is Hawkwind. I've been listening to Warrior at the Edge of Time lately. If Syd Barrett had continued with the Floyd, they would have become the Hawkwind of this album.

What courage, almost a soft-porn review!!! Anyway, the "free exit" writing style is quite distinctive.

Anyway, there's something that doesn't quite add up for me about this kind of music. Being Metal, I expect quite a noise, but from certain things you say, it doesn't always seem to be the case. So, what's the deal? Is there really also melodic slowness (the kind that seems boring to you)?
