It’s really annoying, just like all forms of superficiality. It’s also very annoying to hear: “Who are the FL? That group similar to the Mercury Rev.” Well, fuck off!!!

The previous comment clearly slipped out. Anyway, Festwca, for me you are a bit too extreme. Raw and free ideas, at first glance, are a beautiful thing to try; subsequently, reorganizing them into something coherent is not necessarily a crime. Just as it's not a crime that they are now a bit better known than when you followed them and very few others did.

Sure, now we just need In a Priest Driven Ambulance (another great album). Since it belongs to "your era," can you take care of it?

Now I've read it. The review is really nice, even though, as you know, I don’t agree that the FL have ended with this album. And you didn’t mention Moth in the Incubator, which I believe is one of their greatest MASTERPIECES: a sweet and melancholic start, a raucous punk-rock interlude, and a finale in pure circus/psychedelic chaos that rips thoughts apart. On a track like that, balloons and confetti would have worked wonders.

I haven't read anything, but I'm so happy when someone else, besides me, talks about the FL on this site that I vote for everything "in the dark."

I also like the early albums; they are extraordinarily creative. Telepathic Surgery is beautiful. Maybe I just don't like the first EP (when Mark Coyne was singing).

One last thing. The DVD is truly fantastic, a must-watch.

Anyway, I unconditionally (almost) like everything, perhaps because I've known them for a short time (since The Soft Bulletin) and I can see "the spirit" that hasn't changed even though they're no longer as extreme as they used to be (Hell's Angels... to be honest, I find it a bit hard to digest). There are still some recent tracks that I also find slightly annoying, like for example Yooshimi Part I.
