Yes paperoga, the title track is the only thing that saves it from disaster, but we're really not there anymore. And it's precisely the concept of an album where only a couple of tracks are worth saving that makes it all so sad, genuinely sad. I thank everyone, even for the quality of the comments. Great record. Salo is my favorite. Every time I listen to this stuff and similar, I think that McMahan and David Pajo truly created something big. Pajo, if I remember correctly, isn't on this record, but the soul is definitely there. Anyway, Marshmallows fits well with this gloomy Sunday afternoon; I might just put it on.
