Bartleboom's comment reflects much of my thinking. As for revisionism, I don't think this is the case. Those who love this film enjoy it, form an attachment, and laugh at it, and can only give it a 5, with intentions that are anything but revisionist. I also have fun with the old films of Nino D'Angelo, with almost all of Banfi's work before Nonno Libero, and with Febbre da Cavallo, for which I'm eagerly waiting for a review. The bad movies are others: all those starring Julia Roberts, especially the terrible Closer, the Saw movies, The Ring, all of Muccino's films, the rom-coms that are just formulaic, and much more—in short, 93 percent of the cinema that hits the theaters. But this is just an opinion.

No, it’s official, I can’t relate to it, I don’t like the coexistence of music and cinema. That said, the film is a masterpiece to me.

David Lynch The Elephant Man

I don't rate this film: it's absolutely a 5, but I believe that the true Lynch phenomenon emerged in the following years, completely unrestrained. It's there that I thank heaven for giving us Lynch; as for The Elephant Man, I will just echo the praises mentioned above, of course.

Beautiful, fair, and passionate words, with one single flaw: I have the Word file with this review just finished, and you snatched it away from me for a few minutes!! If you give me permission, I’ll send it anyway... long live the Slint, and let’s all go see them at the end of May.

Gabriele Muccino L'Ultimo Bacio

I don’t like this cinecontamination of debaser; as I suspected, the container loses its identity with the introduction of movie reviews, even though these early arrivals are almost all well done. Eventually, it seems essential to me to split it into two sections.

Never even thought about seeing it, but I caught the last scene with Martina Stella running bouncily while zapping, and that wasn't bad at all.

So it's true that you can write about cinema too! I’ll be watching the film shortly, and I will definitely base my thoughts solely on the first viewing. I don't believe Lynch's cinema should be appreciated through multiple viewings, but rather grasped in an immediate and absolutely non-analytical way. Of course, revisiting Lost Highway, as I just did, is truly a luxury, but I wouldn’t trade the perverse impact of the first time for any (possible) subsequent acquisition of meaning. I still believe I will love this film, but even now I feel inclined to respect well-articulated opposing opinions like those of easycure; in Lynch, that fits perfectly.
