What's the story of North Africa, Voodoo? I must inform you that unfortunately, Africa is quite a bit further down.

Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

I have nothing against remakes or references; for me, the ideal model is that of jazz, where everyone takes others' material and plays it their own way. However, it is out of fashion to consider someone the quintessence of something, least of all Tarantino in relation to cinema. Tarantino's detractors (of which I am not one) derive their energy not so much from an absolute value judgment, but from the statements of those who say that Quentin is the non plus ultra, something that is frankly hard to tolerate. Nonetheless, I will go see the film with joy, waiting for a discounted ticket; for now, I’ve picked up the DVD of Fahreneit 451, the only one I'm missing from Truffaut, a great filmmaker, but even he is not the quintessence of an art that is far too wonderfully vast to be limited to what reaches the video store or multiplexes.
Jürgen Habermas e Joseph Ratzinger Ragione e fede in dialogo

Doctor, allow me a hermeneutic thought: the call to the average man to follow the Messiah along the treacherous path ominously harks back to the totalitarian models of thought that history has abundantly taught us. Ratzinger's thought is totalitarian, immutable, irreparably diplomatic, and poorly inclined towards spirituality. Relativism is the only solution; who could be foolish enough to blindly adhere to a sacred text? And why one over another? For reasons of age? And why then should I allow myself to be tamed impudently by another human being, even if he is the Pope? Have all popes been above reproach? But isn’t spirituality something else? Something other than politics, I mean? Have you ever tried to launch, naked, with the rain washing your blood, the most desperate of prayers? Good, so why don't we talk about serious things? The truth is that if De André or Kieslowski speak to me about God, I get goosebumps; it has often happened to me even with Wojtyła, but never with Ratzinger. And what is God if not a thrill that saves your life? What use is a pope who works, lucidly for charity, among paperwork? In short, dear reviewer, my words betray an ignorance of your review, but forgive me, I abandoned you well before the beginning of the treacherous path; I seek another one without tour guides.
Faust From Glory To Infinity

A terrible idea to call yourself Faust, if only because it encourages embarrassing comparisons with the Faust. This would already show a lack of imagination (not to mention the album title), and then there's the busty nun, come on... Speaking of nuns, Abel Ferrara makes much better use of them in Bad Lieutenant (original version), highly recommended, perhaps a good primer for today's remake.

No, PES for WII doesn't work, or at least not yet. It's much better to hang onto the joypad, like the vulture in the ad.

Players of Pes can essentially be divided into two categories: those who play by distorting the real characteristics of players and teams, and those who try to replicate true abilities (Italy must win by catenaccio, and Gilardino shouldn't play on the wing). The former are amateurs, while the latter are heroes.
