I made a glaring mistake inviting a girl to see it: she fell asleep and started to hate me, while I spiraled into paranoia. 1 anyway is way too little.
Paolo Sorrentino L'Amico Di Famiglia

Ah it was faiv, instead I too, like Randolph, believe that this film lacks something compared to the 4 full of Le conseguenze. Consequence: 3

Great Maramaldos, the SMS-style review, this is the new frontier!
Paolo Sorrentino L'Amico Di Famiglia
Voto:
I, on the other hand, saw Sorrentino on the big screen, undoubtedly a sharp director. Great review; I agree with the observations you've made as well as the rating for the film.
Diamanda Galás Litanies Of Satan
Voto:
You stole my review, Aristarco; luckily you did it well... one day I'll write the one for the magnificent upcoming album by Diamanda, of which I now incredibly forget the name. Regarding the psychopathological discourse, I can only agree; it’s true that if you’re not disturbed, you can’t love this music. However, I don't see any offensive reference in this statement—praise to the sick music.
Ron Howard Il Codice Da Vinci

I quote kosmogabri. Regarding the issue of the €7, I feel like saying that: A) If I spend money on this film and I love it, I'm happy and content, and that’s fine. B) If I belong to the category of those who hated it, I also have enough insight to decide beforehand not to fund this multimedia disgrace. C) In other words, cinema is fun above all, but sometimes buying a ticket is like voting for a party in elections: it doesn’t change anything, but at least I’ve done my duty.
Steve Reich Phases: A Nonesuch Retrospective (5 cd)
Voto:
Reich's music requires calmness and total surrender; if you listen to it at work while you have issues, it can push you towards suicide; otherwise, it can be a journey like few others. Widely endorsed review.
Emir Kusturica Underground
Voto:
4urelio, everyone knows Underground, and anyway the purpose of debaser would be to write interesting things. Nice idea to write so little about such a torrential film, but at that point you have to be a poet... I also think it's Kusturica's best, challenged by the two that Poletti mentioned. The magniloquence is the cause of the ten thousand flaws in this film, and not the way to conceal them. It's a film that lives off its sins, as well as its many virtues. Not votable.
Gabriele Salvatores Quo Vadis, Baby?

Seen on DVD about a year ago, the films that deserve a 5 are (well) others, I say.
Giuseppe Tornatore La Leggenda Del Pianista Sull'Oceano
Voto:
Well, how many dissertations on this film. I’ll just say that after about an hour, I was furiously craving to leave the screening. I find it very difficult to depict music stories in cinema, at least difficult to do it well. Tornatore seems to have failed in this regard, I mean this film doesn't seem to evoke emotions for me. However, many have loved it, so I don't know what to say.
