The Genesis are a must. "Trick" is a great album, with excellent songs; judging it in comparison to "Selling" or "Trespass" is an inappropriate exercise. The prog period of our heroes is inextricably linked to Gabriel; the choice to change direction after his departure, prioritizing the song over the suite, is a smart one, allowing them to remain one of the best rock bands in the world. The review is evocative, but focusing it on the rather polite lyrics seemed a bit off-topic to me, as they don’t seem to be the core of the Genesis sound. Anyway, well done.

Pardon for Lady double, it’s old age :)... as for the comparison with made in Japan... they are two albums from two different eras, a reissue of the Japanese live would have been stale and repetitive. In fact, today it sounds more modern this.

But how can you not mention the legendary "qui pro quo" on the bank robbery ticket that said "you are under fire" that no one could understand....:))))))))
Anyway, it seems like a delightful film to me, really delightful... in fact, if you want, I can even find a vague, wacky surreal romanticism in it. Or not?

On the web, we don’t mention names and surnames... what do you think...?;)

I believe he is referring to timbral characteristics, the good Symbad... right or not, Sym?... warm regards

Damn, I knew he was unwell...can you believe I even bought a record on the website with his best performances (like "Brother to Brother" live) sold for charity? He had a lot of troubles, I couldn't understand his disappearance from the scene. RIP

Luisa is right... great album "Storm..." intimate and symphonic at the same time, and less funky and virtuosic compared to "Brother"...
Keep on walking melts anyone.... ;)

It may be unpopular what I'm about to say, but it's absolutely necessary. As soon as I saw this review, I thought... wow, what guts to tackle this monumental album, and I read it with curiosity... but then... maybe we should ask ourselves what we do, when we do it, and if it's even appropriate. Out of respect for the music, the great Lucio, and the tolerance of others :)

What can we say about Fragile again... that South Side seems to be a forerunner of certain heavy rock in some moments, that The Fish appears to be the most convincing individual episode in terms of creativity, that Heart of Sunrise could be studied note for note by any prog music student, and that we shouldn't underestimate the bonus track America at all, an excellent transfiguration of the song by Paul Simon.
A friendly reprimand... those on the cover are not "great drawings" but the art of Roger Dean, one of the greatest graphic artists in the world... :)
