Sym...friend for friend...I have some who are absolutely focused on the frequencies of their suspected ear, however, suspected of complete disinterest in music...and I, while abhorring power equalizations like RMC, if you allow me, rather than satisfying the spectrum analyzer, prefer to "understand" the bass lines of Scott La Faro...

Le Orme Senti L'estate Che Torna/Mita Mita (Singolo)
Voto:
Well, Le Orme are certainly reviewed... as for the album, I would say that apart from its honest historical significance within the realm of Italian pop of the time, rightly pointed out in the review, it doesn’t connect at all to the future intentions and role of the group, nor to the prog fans of the golden period, who always show a certain embarrassment in front of these songs. I liked "finita la scuola."

Whitesnake Live... In The Heart Of The City

Ain't No Love..tutu-tutù(bass)... In The Heart Of The Cityy....
what times!
I remember the heated debate among fans regarding the Moody-Marsden duo... two nice blues players anti-guitarhero, but in the end, the stars of the most convincing period of the band, despite a more bluesy than metal composition, also including the good Neil Murray on bass.
Good choice, well done.

Charlie Haden & Kenny Barron Night And The City

Amidst these tinkling sounds, I discovered Kenny Barron... For a month?.. it's been one of my precious meditation records for years... a burrow to retreat into.

It's an unmissable emotion.
Joey Calderazzo Joey Calderazzo
Voto:
And to think that Joey is one of the usual inspired ribs in this case, from my land,... the Calderazzos are Calabrians.
Yes, I have undoubtedly known him as Brecker's faithful pianist, but today he certainly deserves his own personal space for his "cultured" pianism agitated by the liveliness of the syncopations and accents typical of Jelly Roll Morton or the more bop Art Tatum.
A good artist to discover and a beautiful review.
Peter Frampton Comes Alive
Voto:
In fact, your suggestions back then were also mine... I often played "Do you feel.." hoping to evoke some Frampton effect on the girls...
So thank you to Mr. Frampton for his "positive thinking." Mine was meant to be an ironic, yet respectful, reinterpretation of a somewhat mysterious phenomenon in the music industry.
Long live Talk-box-man.
