So Beppe, don't you find rock in "Come Together" or "Day Tripper"... or prog in "A Day..." and in most of the harmonic progressions of the guys?
As Jannacci says... you have to have an ear... ;)

I received it... anyway, I just wanted to say that sometimes, really, "Battleship Potemkin is a crazy piece of crap."

I accept your irritation... but I wouldn't want us to be forced to be more realistic than the king when faced with ambiguous products... that’s all.

Well, let’s say that, as the sons and stepchildren of free jazz and dodecaphony have taught us, and good old Verdone too, there’s always a doubt: "...are they two deer?....or are they not...two...deer...?"

a.c. my observation is related to the fact that Gurdjieff is NOT a musician, but rather an important spiritual master who primarily expressed himself through his books. I read "Frammenti di un insegnamento sconosciuto," where he ranges from philosophy to mathematics, within the broader quest for an ancient and all-encompassing understanding of humanity and nature. Thus, music should be regarded as a complementary experiment to his theories, important and successful as much as you want, but secondary in relation to his objectives.

Thank you, geeno, but I try to focus the review on the album, especially when it's a well-known artist; in this case, I believe I've highlighted the distinctive traits of their style. I don't like reviews that are scattered or narcissistic, as they don't help bring the product closer to the audience.

I've read a few books by Gurdjieff... which seems to me to be his natural dimension; when it comes to music, allow me a bit of skepticism, or rather, a different listening priority.

The Beatles say nothing... it's not easy to understand good music.
