That’s better, your nitpicky little pain-in-the-ass of a trusted one.

Indeed, the requirement for the originality of the phrases you quoted/revised can be debated; it is true that, in general, when making a citation (regardless of its literary value), the source should always be indicated. However, in my opinion, these attempts to showcase knowledge in your reviews by borrowing phrases written by others are highly questionable and of dubious taste. All the more so since you yourself denounce such knowledge as banal and useless. Ultimately, I reiterate my advice for you to write your reviews on your own. If you want to provide some information, feel free to read it online, but present it in sentences that are entirely your own. Best regards.

One schizophrenic thing in this review is the fact that the reviewer takes phrases from another review (with the obvious goal of making the underlying knowledge of those phrases appear as their own), only to then state that those phrases are useless and insignificant, a sort of insignificant pendant to their always VERY ORIGINAL considerations full of VERVE. So I don't get it, why did you include them?! Anyway, Punny, seriously, write your reviews from scratch; it's for the best. By the way, in my opinion, legally speaking, this review infringes on the copyright of the original reviewer.

I also listened to them on MySpace and they’re not bad. In fact, I might send you a friend request.

The Cardigans always intrigued me, but I've never listened to one of their albums in full. I also appreciated their slightly vintage sound that the reviewer describes very convincingly. So, a very satisfying reception.

Well, I only know the old single "Sugar we're going down," and I have to say it's really catchy and well done. Moreover, I find them more likable than other pop rock bands that are around these days. Obviously, if they gave me the whole CD, I wouldn't make it to the fourth track without getting annoyed... anyway, I found the review satisfying and apparently objective (I haven't listened to it - and I probably never will).
Carmen Consoli L'Eccezione

The review at times seems a bit like a text analysis from a high school anthology, but it's not to be dismissed. Anyway, I don't mind certain aspects of Carmen; it's a shame that in the last albums she's experiencing a significant creative decline and is a bit too self-referential.

I haven't read the comments, but surely someone has already pointed out that this is the first and not the second, that the tracklist of this album and the discography of Rage are well-known to the walls, that it's called a milestone and not miliale, that "a must-have" is an expression that should be banned from reviews, that the limit of RATM lies precisely in marching a bit too much on those attitudes of champions of the subversive that so excite the angry youngsters with their Latin teacher, attitudes that bitterly contrast with the fact that they’ve been signed to a major like Sony since their very first album, which is the reflection on the music scene of that empire of evil (or evil empire) that they so harshly oppose. Right, guys, you've already said everything, haven't you?

he should have declared it (errata corrige)! Although indeed the nickname seems like a kind of tacit declaration. Anyway, if you're from the Alessio group, I’d like to renew my advice not to seek too many influences here and there. And while we're on the subject, PROMOTIONAL MESSAGE: go to www.myspace.com/maradonaband and discover Mista's new project! 4 tracks already ready to listen! Come one, come all, guys, and let me know what you think. Best regards.

I also had that impression, Iside; if I had realized it, I would have said so (following my own example)... anyway, I too find the continuous references to groups annoying, especially because they end up undermining the proposal. Then I noticed that when a band tries to refer to/cite/similar to/inspire itself from other bands, it is usually a weak band, at least that's what it seems to me while browsing sites and MySpace and reading the bios of the bands.
