Deep Purple Machine Head

I perhaps find myself in agreement with boxis's judgment regarding the current relevance of Deep Purple, but maybe the discussion to be had is another one. Deep Purple defined the sound of hard rock as we conceive it today in a much more pronounced way compared to the Sabs and the Zep; consequently, their type of sound has faced a faster inflation. The Sabs and the Zep, on the other hand, developed more marginal strands of rock that have undergone a slower massification, and thus still seem modern to this day. What do you think?

What do video games have to do with it? Well, if that's the case, they also made a video game of The Warriors... then true gamers know full well that most of the time, movie tie-ins and other crap are just terrible video games (with rare exceptions, like Aladdin for the Mega Drive, which was quite nice and graphically smooth, even if a bit easy;-)

Oops, I accidentally reposted the comment. In fact, I would have advised you to leave the data to the Order's Council and wait and see. In the meantime, I’ll keep my ears open to catch any potential civil law shifts in the office where I work or elsewhere :-) (not-so-joking smiley).

@Fidia: Still for the column "they will be (or are) lawyers". As a first salary as a recent graduate, yes (actually in some others it might be even more, but I'm not sure), then obviously there are increments as you go along. I don't know the salaries of lawyers in these huge law firms; in my firm (made up of three partners, seven lawyers, and three trainees) a young lawyer earns a paycheck of about 2,000-2,500 (from which various deductions and taxes obviously need to be subtracted), and for a criminal law firm, it's considered a good salary. In fact, if you have to pay rent and expenses (absurd here in Milan), it becomes very difficult if you don't have reliable connections or ties to firms that pay you decently.

When I talked about the big firms that really pay well (like 800+ euros as the first salary for an intern, according to friends who work there), I was referring to large associations like Bonetti Eredi Pappalardo, NCTM, Baker and Mackenzie, Santa Maria, which you can easily find online. It’s pointless to tell you how difficult it is to get in (and to work there considering the crazy hours they impose), but with a good CV, it’s never said and done. Unfortunately, being strictly in criminal law, I don't have many connections with medium-large civil firms that might need a lawyer, but I’ll keep my ears open. Anyway, even in Milan, practicing law is very tough, and lawyers certainly aren’t all rolling in money (especially considering the huge number of registered lawyers).

Well, come on Poletti, I’d say that Bartleboom’s description is definitely more in line with reality! In my small way, Milan is one of the few cities where lawyers (generally) pay their trainees, where there are big law firms that bring in trainees with salaries that lawyers in other parts of Italy can only dream of. If a sandwich here in Milan costs 3.50-4.00 and people buy one every lunchtime, some money must be circulating too! Then I don’t want to start a discussion about the decline of the metropolis, but let’s take it easy with these post-apocalyptic descriptions...

Oh yeah, I’ve always had the itch to name a band after some gang from this movie, what do you think, would you buy a record from Gracemary's riffs?
