How exaggerated... they were making fun of him... there's also such a thing as a JOKE! It’s too obvious that it’s YOU who can’t see it... ps: I know the agreement and there’s nothing like that.

Well, Larrok, evidently we have different tastes :) I didn't like the triple-neck guitar piece at all... Honestly, I don't find that Vai solo in "rockin blah..." very moving... it didn't even seem poignant to me; I think he's done (definitely) better, but it is what it is... when it comes to emotions, it's impossible to find a common standard. Anyway, Yngwie only evokes that hilarity in you... This seems pretty clear to me :) and also that in his "digressions" others follow him abundantly...

You can certainly say that it takes flair and style...

It's true: Easy, make yourself heard soon! :- ) Anyway, I didn’t really talk about a "well-played solo".... Rather about an EXPRESSIVE solo... in fact, the technical aspect doesn’t matter to me: I find it important for learning how to play, but then a musician must follow the heart; musical theory and technique in themselves are completely useless... and the solo, no matter how magnificent, can’t make me fall in love with an ugly song; but with the musician, that’s a different story.

Exaggerated! He certainly has given more exhilarating performances (like the other two, after all), but he definitely invigorated the scene and (to some extent) engaged the others! Even Vai and Satriani, in fact, unleashed a barrage of notes as much as they could (see audio CD). Nevertheless, despite everything, I wanted to say that personally, I was touched by the way he played the adagio. Despite everything.

@$face$: check out Alex Gregory's album, I have it and I can tell you it's not thrilling... a little gem: there's Mark Boals on vocals... @jetto: in my opinion, only Matt buys his records (to review them):)

Did he redo Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple? O my god... Anyway, the cover of the guitarist who pees on the graves of Vai and Malmsteen wasn't by Angelo (would he have had too much imagination to think of something like that? It's not like him...) but by Alex Gregory... a little anecdote: it seems that Malmsteen had a good laugh when he saw it...
