Well... I would lean more towards a 3... also considering the excellent soundtrack (then how much do we rate a (great) film like Shining? 25?)

Just to clarify, Malmsteen was, early in his career (because then they didn't even try anymore), sought after by (in order): Ozzy Osbourne; Alcatrazz (Steve Vai was a SECOND choice) and David Lee Roth (again, Vai was a SECOND choice).

Anyway, it's normal for a musician to throw in some "tamarrate" (what a term...) during a live performance; they do it to entertain and have fun. Have you ever seen a Dream Theater concert? What a graveyard… But you can't just judge a musician based on their "tamarrate." Otherwise, even Hendrix, who did all sorts of things, was just a clown or a jester. Respect for the music.

I don't find the review that disastrous; moreover, aside from the grammatical errors (which we are all good at spotting when OTHER people write), we should learn to appreciate the CONTENT of what is being expressed. I don't agree with certain statements from Matt7, but I believe he did an acceptable job. Regarding this g3, I frankly prefer the CD version, where the jam is much more vigorous. In any case, it's the best g3 ever.
