Well, then we should figure out what grasshopper means by depth... On the other hand, making comparisons with works of a different type created in different contexts is always a (big) risk... see, for me a violin concerto, no matter how less complex it may be than a symphony, can be just as deep... look, I recently wrote a review on the soundtrack of Barry Lyndon! Basically, with your left hand you create legato (the index-ring finger trill works great) on one of the lower strings; while doing this, you rest (without pressing) the wrist of your right hand on the strings and slowly slide it towards the nut... ps I recommend a pumped sound to achieve the effect!

Great idea! I can already picture it: wedding march with a distortion effect and wild headbanging during the solo! Well, I don’t know him personally, but I saw his video course at a friend’s house! We laughed like crazy the whole time (at least for an hour, though I don't remember exactly). I recommend downloading it because it shows all his "special" techniques (like "hellish carillon," "pick fool," etc...).
