editors, did you cut it?
James Levine - The Met Orchestra Mussorgsky: Pictures At An Exhibition - Stravinsky: Le Sacre Du Printemps

Unfortunately, I found Fantasia 2000 a bit too simplistic... episodes like those of the Fifth Symphony or "Carnival of the Animals" or even "Pomp and Circumstance" have been underused and poorly executed to create something "for children." Not much inspiration... then there are also great moments ("Rhapsody in Blue," "Firebird," and even "The Pines of Rome" according to many) but in the end, the greatest emotion always comes from The Sorcerer's Apprentice, who dreams of guiding the stars (although to be honest, I’ve found very few images more lyrical than that...). Anyway, I wrote a review of the soundtrack, of course published here on DeBaser! If you like, you can check it out...

I discovered Mussorgsky and Stravinsky thanks to one of the greatest masterpieces of world cinema, which was the first "Fantasia," and from that moment I fell in love... you described their (can I say?) fundamental works in more than a good way. This is how a review should be: rich in interesting information and thoughts to ponder.

You can definitely say that... Scarface is also a great film (legendary Tony Montana!)... Plus, Al Pacino is an incredible actor... especially in The Godfather III, I truly "contemplated" him throughout the entire movie, only to dissolve into tears during the final scene... that agonizing expression of his, a profoundly deep inner suffering, took my breath away... he should have won three Oscars just for that MOMENT of the film.

And if we ask them to play a "beach" song, what do they do? Do they go hide?

I discovered the catch... these guitarists play a "genre" (sorry for the inappropriate term) called hypershredding (erm.....) basically they play with the pick perpendicular to the string, allowing them to play faster... no comment.
