Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory

No, for the lessons there are the professors. I'm not even a graduate.

Ashanti was nothing personal: as I wrote, these are things I’ve heard and heard again, and I’m tired of hearing them (about how music can express concepts and ideas). And then my debut started with a nice "I’ll be CONTROVERSIAL and a jerk because I’m fed up." You started judging me as narrow-minded. I didn’t even judge you at a glance.

I'm sure you don't even know what a damn thing is!

I caught sight of the know-it-all! AHAHAHAH! How many things am I discovering about myself today! Know-it-all because I don't mince words? No, I assure you I'm an ignorant person who sees their own ignorance right before their eyes all day long!

Ah, now you've logged in! But please... I want to know which user you were on debaser! It's pointless for you to hide behind a mask now!

Ashanti, I don't even read your response. @passante, sorry but you are truly pathetic. If you are so confident in yourself and your knowledge, why don't you authenticate yourself? Do you think you really know a critic by reading their reviews? And I feel pity for you because unlike you, I have respect for thinkers! But where do you study, in the faculty of snack sciences? You don't even know the basics to undertake serious study. Ashanti, I'm sorry: learn not to offend first.

You are quite superficial.

1. Yes, but it's you who started interpreting my words in your own way... judging me. Right? 2. Anyway, if you deceive yourself into thinking you understand something about a critic based solely on their reviews, you make me feel a bit sorry for you... I think you're taking it lightly. 3. But do the ones you mentioned do rap or mix different genres? I think you're talking nonsense. 4. But why don't you authenticate yourself?

The fact (and with this I say goodbye, at least for now) is that rap is not exactly a musical genre... The spoken word is at the center of everything, the MUSIC is just a mere backdrop. At best, it can aspire to be relevant from a poetic standpoint (through the concept). But that’s no longer music! It’s poetry!

The response about the rappers in question was provocative and ironic (it's true that they are not well-known!), indeed I don’t know them and I shouldn’t judge. However, I tend to think, when I hear the expression "great musicians," of Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Stravinsky... And in rock, of Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc... I mean: truly FUNDAMENTAL groups. Now, I have never even heard those rappers you mentioned named, but let me live with this terrible doubt... that they are really nothing compared to the groups I mentioned.
