The review is a bit... tiring. I agree with senmayan, the comparisons are a bit daring. This album may not be the first, but I still appreciate it: for example, it’s much better than Alpha, the one that follows it without Steve Howe on guitar. A 4 for the album is totally fair. It's poorly recorded, has some tracks that just serve to fill time, but it also has some breathtaking pieces like "the smile has left your eyes." But you, mien, have you ever heard albums like Aqua or Aura? No, because you say that the entire discography isn't much, but those are great albums, maybe even better than the first.

hehe yes, the cover makes one think of metal... this is a great album! But it's clear that you don't have the spirit of southern music; the three guitars and the two basses are the best show that dixieland can offer: they are the ones who have come closest to Lynyrd Skynyrd in sound. Anyway, the review is fun.

Great character. A couple of albums and I always enjoy listening to them. Nice review.

I love Saxon, but you’re absolutely right, this album is terrible. I agree with everything except that...mellifluous Sabbath, Seventh Star is a great album...meh!

Nice review. Great respect for the genre and for the great tracks they’ve made, but I don’t know, they’ve never really convinced me that much.

Ehh pibroch, I spent 23 minutes in front of the screen deciding whether to give it a 4 or a 5, but in the end, I managed to resist the temptation.. ;)

Yes, it's not the best by Tom Petty, you could compare it a bit to Damn the Torpedoes saying that it's similar, but that one is of distinctly higher value. Nonetheless, there are some amazing tracks: you've got lucky is an example (the video is mega beautiful too!). I could confidently say that Tom Petty is the best American songwriter, fully aware that I would be 100% biased: there are indeed many excellent American songwriters, and it’s so difficult to say who’s the best, perhaps because in the end, it really comes down to personal taste. Bye!
