In fact, it's very cheesy, but we're not quite at the levels of DragonForce or the Italian Elvenking, who are quite good, by the way. ;-)

Indeed; in Gleno, beyond the usual, embarrassing political-hypocritical-bureaucratic issues, there were also construction defects. The Vajont dam, on the other hand, is still there, intact, unsettling and majestic, dominating the new Longarone. If I may add, I wanted to point out that in the twentieth century, in Italy, the four major disasters caused by dams were essentially due to one of the four "sectors" of danger (structural crisis at Gleno, hydrological causes at Sella Zerbino in '35, slope instability for the Vajont - I believe the second largest landslide ever in terms of volume, correct me if I'm wrong - and finally at Stava due to malicious management and maintenance); these are things that make you think, damn.

Devastating, splendid masterpiece.

Exactly, one tends to forget. How sad.

I might be the only one on the planet who thinks this, but "Sourrounded" is the best track on "Images & Words"... whatever. Them and "Symphony X" at the DatchForum? Hmmm... let me guess the ticket price range. ;-)

Really, it’s quite clear; perhaps that’s exactly the point: if it were a reading for those who - for various reasons - prefer or need to feel like they’re reading a book, that would be one thing; but a reworking... I don’t know, honestly I don’t see much usefulness in it?

It must be great; but for a novice like me, it has already been a trauma to become passionate about the excellent "Full Metal Panic!". ;-)

Well, the 20*z point is something I hadn't considered, and for this I agree with you. As for telling stories to children, it is perhaps one of the sweetest things there is, but in my opinion it is something else; not an audiobook, narrated by a stranger who often doesn't address anyone in particular.

Mmm... honestly, I agree with caz on many points, while not denying that I find some sense in gbrunoro's argument (which makes my attitude rather opportunistic). A housewife doing chores hums; she’s not following a complex plot. In the car, people listen to music (not the radio, even in my case - by the way, I only listen to the radio for the Gialappa's sports commentary, every two years), they don’t listen to a plot while trying to understand it and distracting themselves from driving. If I go running... uhm... well, there's nothing wrong with that. But if a gorgeous woman is jogging, approaches me, ignores my disgusting smell of sweat, and to strike up a conversation asks me, "What are you listening to?", if I were to reply, "A monograph on the Battle of Waterloo," I might feel like an idiot (assuming I can't wait to read it - read it). ;-) That said, I don't deny its usefulness for civilizations where it makes sense like - I read - the Anglo-Saxon one or for the visually impaired, let's be clear.
