George Lucas Star Wars: Episodio I - La Minaccia Fantasma

Seen many times, always liked it; in my opinion, it doesn’t have the major weaknesses people tend to believe: even a character like Jar Jar (great!) not only doesn’t clash, but doesn’t even feel out of place in a story where he’s not among the truly involved characters (it’s a universal saga, not a closed-environment mystery). The Gungan battle is truly spectacular, by the way. Kudos to Portman and for Keira's debut, the most beautiful woman in the world whom I might marry one day, :-D Assuming that the peaks of the saga, in my opinion, are the unmatchable Episode V (pure genius, the battle on Hoth) and Episode III (though the ending is predictable due to narrative necessities), I would place this one (Episode II is anomalous, not bad - especially in the battle; Episode IV, the first, legendary Star Wars is basically a film - albeit brilliant - of beautiful costumes in many illuminated corridors, while VI is a IV-bis, with a few ideas, perhaps... as Hurley said thirty-three years ago, on the Island, "And let’s be honest: Ewoks suck."). Conclusion: a solid 5. To the whole saga. Cheers.

"Lisbon" is spectacular: the harpsichord speaks seven languages.

Isis! Amazing: you played the wild card. What an insane thing, Abe; insane.

Awesome! I love this game: in multiplayer, via LAN, it has given us spectacular hours: the ongoing attack signal is pure obsession. And let’s be honest: what’s better than forty fully developed longbow archers? Don’t tell me forty knights or you’ll ruin the poetry. ;-)

I always used Chun-Li, what a woman. I picked up II again a few years ago on a 747 flight: how many broken matches against Bison's slides. ;-)

Unfortunately, I've never read this. However, "Mickey Mouse" has been a companion for years (with great stories and magnificent parodies - I also think of the legendary "The Duck of Mystery"). I read "Paperinik - the classic one," why not "GM - Young Marmots," and the beautiful "Topomystery" with its detective stories, old and very wicked. Nice memories.

Beautiful discussion; I think that dubbing/translation (often excellent in Italy) of films and books is absolutely a good thing to avoid distraction from watching with subtitles and/or if one is unable to appreciate the original language or (as is the case for me) has little desire to engage in this, because my language is Italian - and I will pay for this. ;-) But poetry... mmm... having established that I am not a reader of poetic texts, there have been instances, for example, when I read something by Poe ("Annabel Lee") and I found it incredibly musical and, I would say, untranslatable without completely distorting the text.

I haven't played it in years, but I'm almost sure it was in Central Europe. ;-) I also almost always went with McLaren (yellow).
