In fact... now the doubt is whether to progress as a pure thief or to take on the role of the dancing shadow, but for a thief, that's a bit pointless.

Of course, the scene with the purple background is certainly not boring...

Watched last night, as it was broadcasted in tribute to Antonioni. Well... I mean, great film, beautiful scenes, evocative moments, okay... but honestly, all I feel is a bit of boredom and a mountain of question marks. Maybe it's because I adore "low" cinema (to use Poletti's useful definition), where the image and form support the plot and not the other way around. What do they want to convey to me with hours of hanging photos observed to the point of nausea? In short, it’s definitely a masterpiece, or at least a really great film (no one doubts that), but for me, cinema is first and foremost entertainment. Poletti says that cinema was created by images and not by plot: sure, the first films were silent and lasted a minute... ;-) @vellutogrigio: great review, personally I would have concluded differently, maybe without picking up the word again.

@kosmogabri: thank you, Swiss friend. P.S.: I'm not Swiss, although I'm close to it; I apologize for the misunderstanding. @Bjorky: the second one. Or rather, it's not mediocre; let's say I'm not a fan of the underground scene (which is missing among the genres). It's not cold technically, it's icy stylistically, in my opinion. Can you understand what I mean?

But not for me either (see the vote). Let's say it's more of an impression (even if that's not quite the exact word) than an emotion; I wanted to describe what I imagined, more than anything else: all culminating in the desire for a breath of air.

True, many times Dungeons & Dragons inspires nonsense (see the homonymous movie), but the game itself... fantastic! Actually, I really need to decide if my new rogue will be an elf or a halfling... ;-)

But yes, come on. Vianello deserves it.

@happypippo: no problem. ;-)

But no, come on... Schawrzy is a decent actor, in my opinion, comfortable even in a comedy. Much more expressive than a Stallone or a Norris (at least from the neck up). Remember "Jingle All the Way"? The scene with the reindeer is a classic of cinema. ;-)
