I don't like Fifty Cent, but I'm with you, maden. It seems that it's better to review the same album 20 times (and not always saying something interesting) than to talk about a new one. Of course, tastes are tastes, but I don’t share the relentless criticism for the sake of it against singers or genres that are despised, rightly or wrongly. I would love to know how many of you have actually listened to the album in question to consider yourselves supreme judges. How many of these judgments stem from pseudo-intellectual cultural preconceptions rather than from objective criticism? Face it, there’s more to music than just rock (thankfully). And I reiterate that I don’t like this album, and I even regret having listened to it in the first place.

I'm responding publicly because I can't in private:
You haven't specified your criticisms and you haven't said anything about the album (actually, the albums, since there are 3), so my doubts regarding this are more than justified. As for the rest: de gustibus.

"I review this record to address all those who can't stand duplicates, triplicates, and brass sections, which perhaps hadn’t been conceived yet in '73, while pretending to be knowledgeable about Progressive, Funk, and homemade Mediterranean cuisine." Great opening. But you could have signed your name as well!

1) But what does all this rambling have to do with the album?
2) Have you listened to it? (I don't think so)
3) You started just from the name to say things that have nothing to do with the album.
4) If you don't like a genre (we don't even know which genre you like), you're not obliged to share your opinion.
5) Are you criticizing the tracklist, the way it’s mixed, or something else?

I join Qzerty and humax4; I also saw the video in question on MTV, it's called "Satan Eats Seitan." Very nice!

Maybe the man with the chocolates is right. Especially when it's your woman who makes a drastic change in hairstyle, and cutting ties with the past, you might be understood as well. I haven't had the chance to listen to this group yet, since my tastes are far from psychedelic rock, but the review is very well written. Bye
