Ettore Scola C'eravamo tanto amati

I'm sorry if I'm out of sync with the chorus of praises for Poletti, but I think this review carries the tone of arrogance/superiority that is characteristic of him. "Mark these dates for future reference: 1958, 1975. They are two dates, okay, but they are two important dates. In some way, they mark the beginning (1958) and the end (1975) of the history of Italian cinema that matters. The trailblazer was 'I soliti ignoti' (of which I will talk to you one day), and the end was marked by 'Amici miei', the last great comedy possible. From Monicelli to Monicelli: and it's no coincidence." I am not a film expert - apparently, neither is Poletti - I quote animasalva, in fact, before 1958 dozens of films were made that received international critical and public acclaim. Dear Poletti, do names like Rossellini, Luchino Visconti, Fellini, De Sica mean anything to you? Do you think they produced important films before 1958? The rest of the review is peppered with clichés (even if written in good Italian).

It's not that I'm bothered by the fact that cinema is being discussed on Debaser; it just seemed unusual to me. Perhaps I missed the moment when space began to be given to movie reviews. (Which could have been done in some editorial, instead of talking about the usual "abstract" topics :-)) I hope I'm not offending the sensitivity of the editors with this...

Better the movie's soundtrack. Although I prefer "La Polizia s'incazza."

When I see those details of the boots, I go into ecstasy... and the analog editing completely blew me away!

This fdlm didn't bring much luck to the performers. Especially to the butter.

I thought you would only ramble on about music.

AA.VV. Confuzed Disco - A Retrospective Of Italian Records
Voto:
Italo-disco, I'm glad it's made a comeback thanks to this type of compilation and producers like Scuola Furano, Ajello, Santos, etc. Recently, an Italo retrospective was released by the English label Masterpiece Records, and in the compilation "The Kings of Techno," Carl Craig included a track by "Kano." One last thought on Irma: it's a shame it is no longer the hotbed of new sounds that it was in the late '90s.

I quote Doctor J. "I'm a pop star, but if I fail I'll be a bricklayer, not Music Farm!" Do you really believe he would do that?
