It's true, there may not be any dazzling songs like "Tom of Bedlam" by Escondida, but "Crush in the Ghetto" (sample 1), "Springtime Can Kill You" (sample 2), and "Mexican Blue" (sample 12) are so languid and seductive... just as you say, and refreshing. The drummer is Dale Crover, who quietly happens to be the Leader of "Porn (Men Of)" as well as the ex-husband of Lori, the leader of Acid King. Subtitled: I pound. You, much less. And silently, he has also collaborated on writing many parts of Patton's Peeping Tom. Don’t ask me how and where, but he’s in the credits (like Adam Jones in Fantomas). The album in which I hear him at his best lately, I believe, is Wine, Woman & Song by Porn. In "Succulento," he deserves bows. Then, obviously, on Lysol & Bullhead.
