In the same genre: minimal electronics, sound variations, I found this site where you can download free mp3s from various artists. The compositions are a musical forum where each musician attempts to provide a sonic response to injustices, an exploration of the power of sound as protest. Conversely, Palestine himself says of his work that it has no philosophical message; it's pure experimentation.

Well yes, but until a few days ago I didn’t know about the existence of Charlemagne Palestine. At one point in the studio, they played this CD, and in the wave of enthusiasm it provoked, I wrote and sent this "review." Then I discovered that Palestine is a great American composer and visual artist born in 1945, who has been dedicated to sound experiments and the interaction between body, sound, and movement since the early '60s. Among his works are "Strumming Music" from '77, a hypnotic electronic-noise minimalist piece with piano, "Alloy" from '78, a piece for the alumomion, an instrument created by Palestine himself, "Karenina" from '97, featuring falsetto singing accompanied by an harmonium, and this "Jamaica Heineken Brooklyn" from '98, an hour of sounds recorded during Jamaica Day, to which he later layered electronic drones. It begins very softly, then the volume gradually increases, becoming extremely loud and creating a kind of hypnosis and daze. "Music for Big Ears" from 2002, a symphony for bells.
