Haku, with all due respect, I allowed anonymous comments because I think it's fair to give space to those who don't want to register, but making personal attacks is not constructive and leads nowhere. Then, Matt has thoroughly explained his position and even apologized (and he didn't have to) if in some of his comments about the G3 he was excessive in his judgment. I believe he has done his part; try to meet him halfway too, it would reflect well on you.

Hey! Come on, I got it, I just wanted to "joke" a bit, I didn't expect a review on Antonacci from you, you surprised me! But just satisfy my curiosity, is this fan your girlfriend? Maybe a silly question with an obvious answer, but at least I can clear my doubt! Bye!

Emanuele, with all due respect, but I believe the anonymous person is right, you cannot speak ill of someone you don’t know well, just as I cannot do it with Lane. To say that Malmsteen is unoriginal is absurd; he was the one who introduced true neoclassicism in electric guitar and we're talking about 1983, so quite a few years ago, don’t you think? Since then, do you know how many have tried to copy him? Countless. As for him being Russian, well maybe next time you should inform yourself a bit better! Just a suggestion!

You know I miss Ultrazone too! On the other hand, I don’t have it, but I’ve listened to many tracks from "Alive in a ultra world," and they are exceptional in my opinion, especially "Principessa" and the acoustic piece "Brandos Costumos." Then there’s a track by Vai that I adore, but I don’t know which album it belongs to, maybe it's from Ultrazone which I don’t own; it’s called "Christmas time is here." I don’t know if you know it and can give me your opinion, but that jazzy atmosphere combined with his technique makes the piece quite unique in the genre!

It's the price you pay when you're consistent with your choices, but you shouldn't get discouraged. I took a look at your reviews on Dream Theater, and I think you did a great job; for example, I only have the live "Season Change" (not sure if I spelled it right) and it's really beautiful, but I didn't know they had done covers of Metallica or Iron, so you did well to let us know. About G3, you know, many people already start off biased; they're technical, so they throw it all away, but the point is that the best technicians perform at G3. A Romeo won't go there, nor will an Angelo or a Cooley, because they have nothing to say. Having your own preferences is normal; after all, we're talking about great musicians, not circus acts!

No Matt, your reviews are excellent and have nothing to envy mine; you know, the beauty of this site is that I can learn from you and you can learn from me. For example, I don't love Petrucci to bits, but as a guitar lover and guitarist (not a seasoned one!), I want to listen more closely to Metropolis and definitely appreciate its qualities. In the same way, you could do the same with this Moore album: maybe you won’t like it as much as I do, but as a guitarist and lover of the six strings, you might find your positive aspects and broaden your horizons. Thank you for your judgments, really!

I completely agree with your analysis, Matt. Romeo is a clone of Malmsteen, technically skilled but lacking a shred of personality, the very quality that makes Vinnie Moore a true composer for electric guitar. Being hyper-fast isn't enough to be great guitarists; technique must always serve the music, otherwise you end up being nothing more than circus performers.

For the rest, I hope I’ve been helpful regarding Uli Roth. I recommend listening to him because he’s an amazing guitarist with an extraordinary sound. Many musicians should take inspiration from him. See you soon!

Matt, I take this opportunity to reiterate that my comment (if you were referring to me) was not an insult to anyone; I was absolutely not referring to ajeje. Marco simply addressed a discussion on Kant that is anything but simple, especially for those who may have never read or studied Kant. I'm sorry that my statement was taken as a mockery because that was not my intention, and if you have gotten to know me, you know it's not my style to offend people.

And I who always thought you were a man!!! Come on, now I discover you to be a beautiful young lady! Well, anyway, the end of the review is really scathing; we've all been through it a bit in life, but also "cohabiting"!
