Sure, it must be great! Has anyone listened to it yet? Maybe mandrocker, who closely follows the Purple! Anyway, let me know how it is if you've already bought it. I would get it just for the tracks with Uli Roth and Dio together—what a duo, guys!!

"Gillan's Inn is an imaginary pub," Ian Gillan said about the album, "You walk in, there's a bar on the left and drinks are all free; there's a stage, with every kind of equipment you could wish for; and written on the floor is the setlist, someone goes up and plays those three or four pieces. And that’s exactly what happened for the recording of the album: I called many of my friends and we recorded it."

On the Gillan's Inn website, in addition to the singer's daily "Glog", you can listen to previews of the songs and enjoy some footage from the studio." quoted in full from link rotto

I knew that there was no good blood between God and Blackmore; God had always claimed that Ritchie was a great professional and an exceptional guitarist, but as a person, he was extremely despotic. If in the meantime they have reconciled, all the better! However, I find it difficult that the two could come back together; I think a reunion with Turner is more likely, which indeed Joe himself hasn't ruled out. Another thing, did you know that in Gillan's new solo album, God also sings and Uli Jon Roth plays on a couple of tracks, with solos described as extraordinary by the same singer of the Purple? Ah mandrocker, I happened to visit your msn space, very nice, congratulations!!

I think that the "medieval" project is far from being a fallback, but I read an interview with Ritchie where he doesn't rule out the possibility of a return with Deep Purple, perhaps even just temporarily, because many fans have explicitly requested it. Honestly, I would have really liked to see him reform Rainbow, maybe even with Turner, who said he would run straight to Blackmore because he owes his entire career to him and for the friendship and admiration he has for him. After all, Strangers in Us All is a truly beautiful album; why not continue that path?

My nickname, "si mandrocker," is taken from a song by Alcatrazz called "Jet to Jet," which belongs to Malmsteen and Bonnett. In the video, Steve Vai plays it because he replaced Malmsteen after his departure from the band. Of course, Alcatrazz owes a lot to Rainbow, but come on, aside from the look, at that time Malmsteen also had a clear influence from Blackmore, especially in his playing style, particularly in the sound and bending; today, though, he uses crazy effects for sound distortion. As for Ronnie, I knew about Blackmore's son, but I wasn't aware of the website; however, aren't there any mp3s to download, or am I mistaken? Regarding Savopardo, I appreciate your encouragement; the song I downloaded was great, it's a solo piece, but it reminded me tremendously of Tommy Bolin. Is that possible?

The Alcatrazz are very beautiful, the band before starting the solo career where he played with Graham Bonnet. If you want to see the videos, the website is the one I recommended to God: www.youtube.com then you type Alcatrazz in the search engine and you will see the various clips, from Hiroshima mon Amour onwards, all worth watching if you don’t know them!

an album unjustly criticized by many, it doesn't reach the levels of Perfect Strangers, but it's still of good quality. The review is very good; you have a priority on Deep Purple!!

About Morse, yes I read your review of Purpendicolar and I agree with you, I have the CD at home and it's a good work, but honestly it's the only acceptable one, the rest is to be rejected! As for Malmsteen, well, there's a distinction to be made: the one today is better off staying in his place, I don't know if you've listened to the album Inspiration where he plays Purple songs ruining them with absurd scales! The first Malmsteen, however, I would have seen well, he was very influenced by Blackmore and had common sense in addition to tremendous talent in my opinion.
