Steve Vai Fire Garden

It seems to me that yes, and honestly, that surprises me. By the way, he acts like a big man, but he hasn't given any constructive criticism to Vai yet, maybe because he isn't even capable of doing it. Anyway, Ege, we don't need the poor man's Freud, so if that's your intention, go back to commenting on This Heat and the other esteemed artists you love to mention and spare us your sessions as a failed psychiatrist, which are quite gruesome.

Well then, for the sake of your consistency, you should go comment elsewhere on guitarists like Gottsching instead of on Steve Vai’s reviews. Yet, you keep coming here to show off, we’ve understood that you don’t like him, you’ve expressed your judgment, but here we’re talking about him if you haven’t grasped that yet. And I repeat, no one is forcing you to participate in this discussion; if you do, however, you should at least respect some basic rules. As for the album covers, well, you know, Steve Vai is not a stereotype of a guitar hero; he is the quintessential guitar hero and can play around with that as much as he wants. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but he can definitely afford it, so get used to it!

You know Ege, I really don't follow you, where you want to get to is known only to you. You cling to unlikely names or poorly executed covers of Steve Vai. You understand well that your behavior is quite childish, so why don't you try to make a constructive criticism, if you can? You know, we are not eight years old here; we've grown up a bit to keep indulging in these trivialities.

Yes, that's the record!

Come on, I don’t have the album, but I love that composition; for me, it’s extraordinary, even in terms of the feelings it conveys! So I’ll be waiting for your comment soon! Goodbye.

don’t worry, I’m a little less young than you and it happens to me too, so! By the way Marco, do you know Christmas time is here and if so, what do you think about it?

ah panzer, I'm saying this to you but it's directed at everyone, including ajeje. You rightly pointed out how Vai moves from blues to metal, and I would add jazz as well. Has anyone ever listened to the stratospheric "Christmas time is here"? It's something that gives you chills and even borders on jazz. If you know it, let me know what you think, and you too ajeje, I would still like you to join the discussion. I'm sorry that the tone has deteriorated, but I know Marco well and I'm absolutely sure he didn't mean to offend you. You know how it is when defending your ideas; sometimes you end up losing your cool—it's happened to me too, but there’s never any malice. I hope that’s clear.

Do you find Metallica genius? You’re convinced, but anyway the review isn’t great and neither is the album, which, apart from a couple of songs, doesn’t really say much. The earlier works are way better if you really want to listen to this band!

Great review, Vin, one of the longest and most beautiful I've read on Debaser. It's clear that the album has particularly captivated you, and when there's passion combined with the desire to express it and an undeniable ability to write like yours, the result is absolutely extraordinary! I will listen to this work; you've piqued my curiosity! See you soon!
Jimmy Page & Robert Plant No Quarter: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Unledded
Voto:
You beat me to it! I intended to review this album sooner or later, but you did a great job; I enjoyed the review, and No Quarter is, in my opinion, an absolutely good CD, worth listening to without being overly influenced by the heavy past: Plant doesn't sing like he did in the Zeppelin days, but his voice is still uniquely emotional.
