I believe that if one were even slightly objective, one should distinguish between a Steve Vai and a mundane shredder (choose whichever you like; I talked about Cooley, but the list is quite long!), otherwise, we end up putting them on the same level and maybe, in this light, Passion and Warfare would be worth as much as Cooley's or Angelo's album—a true absurdity to be completely rejected!
