Yngwie Johann Malmsteen Rising Force

I apologize for the missing h! Anyway, I don't want to argue with you; I'm just saying that the G3 is the comparison with the great personalities, and that's where it becomes evident if one truly measures up to the greatest. I believe he has shown that he doesn't. Honestly, I don't see a genius in Petrucci, nor in Malmsteen, to be clear; I just much prefer the Swede, especially during the period of '84-'86, his peak!

So, I'll skip over Rapsody, but as for Petrucci, I can only say that he doesn't impress me much, aside from the fact that he is technically skilled. At the G3 (which is essentially a benchmark for great personalities), I believe he showcased all his limitations. But, of course, de gustibus.

Come on, they're ready to be mentioned Joe Stump and Romeo!!!!

Anyway, I want to reward your creativity and charm in painting the character, so I’ll give you a raise... not your salary, but just your grade. For the money, you can always hit up the Swedish millionaire!!!

I didn't know you had 7 years of Jeet Kune Do under your belt, otherwise I would have dodged some deadly blows a while ago!! I've practiced judo for a few years, a discipline that is absolutely defensive and not offensive, at least in Europe, because in Asian countries it is understood holistically as the synthesis of defense and attack!

Some time ago, he had also targeted me, always through generation x, which at this point is his mirrored double. I don't know if you've ever read Otto Rank's book "The Double," it's very relevant for our LIFE MASTER!!!!! Anyway, I don't understand why to deny the evidence, to get where? To infest the web with his thousand tentacles, who knows!

the review is very beautiful and well-crafted, the album is truly outstanding, too bad he didn't continue along this line afterward.

I do share the view that he has remained a prisoner of himself and of a glorious past; in fact, he has never convinced as much as in Rising Force or Trilogy. However, these works remain and will remain absolute masterpieces in the genre for all of his clones, and I think for him as well!

I know how you feel about the technical issue, dreamwarrior, but you know, if you consider a Cooley, he might be faster than Malmsteen, but what garbage music does he make? Will he ever be able to compose a true electric guitar piece? I don't think so, so his speed technique, as Matt7 rightly pointed out in his review of his album, really takes him nowhere! And this applies to him, just like to other hyper-technical players without personality. Malmsteen has drawn a very clear path, especially in his early days, and he has made his technique an art; his clones can only dream of that. That's why I still believe he is the embodiment of neoclassicism and that no one has ever truly surpassed him—he remains number 1 in that regard.

I left you with Rising Force and I find you again with Trilogy! However, some corrections are mandatory: the song is called You don' t remember i'll never forget and Malmsteen had the near-fatal accident with a Jaguar, not with a Ferrari... sometimes he likes to change!! For the rest, I continue to disagree with your idea that it is outdated, because I repeat, before his clone can prove to make albums of better quality than Rising Force or Trilogy in the same musical genre, I frankly have great doubts about it! The final part of the review is fun.
