Hello Ronnie!

I need to listen to a few tracks from that work; besides, from the way you talk about it, it seems like a project with very different sonorities from its usual ones, and I admit that this intrigues me a bit! My second job will be that of "review instigator." After all, I’m satisfied with the final acknowledgments as a source of inspiration, which, in the case of your hypothetical and highly anticipated review of Book of Shadow, will make someone fall off their chair!!!!

I completely agree with you! By the way, when can we expect your review of Book of Shadow? I would love to read it! I stopped at Pride and Glory (I hope that’s spelled correctly), but your description of Wylde's work at the time intrigued me, even though I didn't have the courage to admit it back then, so I hope to read it eventually!!

What truly leaves me astonished is the realization that a group of such class and substance as Journey has paradoxically fallen (at least here) almost into oblivion, while the most over-the-top bands on earth are idolized and followed. This is something that I find hard to understand!!

Sure, but Randy Rhoads is a shooting star compared to Robertson. Honestly, Rowan didn't particularly excite me; all this skill I didn't see in the album. Then Vivian Campbell (without even bringing Randy into it) does a thousand and more!! It doesn't surprise me he ended up in obscurity, but far be it from me to open another controversy in Rhoads Wylde style. Remember the good times, Vin?!!!!

I’m really glad, dreamwarrior, that you are passionate and a deep connoisseur of the band, but, as I partly feared, I see that almost nobody has commented on the review... and yet Journey is a historic and very important band; they are true masters in AOR! I share with you the great charisma and talent of Neal Schon, a true guitar player with a capital G!

The Journey have been and undoubtedly remain a great band, extremely loved in the States and perhaps unfairly overlooked in Europe; I am sincerely more attached to the period with Perry, during which the whole band expresses an incredibly high level of feeling and musical quality, and this album is a testament to that.

I remembered the guitarist being 17, but these are silly things! I appreciated a greater balance compared to your other reviews; besides, this album didn’t have significant educational content to convey, so overall you took an important step forward in my opinion, also avoiding repeating things already written. I wanted to give you a 4 to encourage you and give you a push to improve; perhaps Fidia gave the fairest score to your review. Vin, I think you were too harsh; a solid passing grade is deserved, if nothing else for the greater critical ability expressed!

I’m glad you accepted my suggestion; this is a valid review that, while justly maintaining your passion for God, also highlights the flaws inherent in the album. It's no coincidence that I suggested "Look up the wolves," a declining episode from the former singer of Rainbow Black Sabbath! One small note: perhaps you could have emphasized more the remarkable presence of Jens Johansson on keyboards (formerly of Malmsteen), even though his contribution on the album is quite limited. Overall, you did a great job; well done!

errata corrige also on Wylde, I believe he is still the guitarist of the madman!
