Pantera Live @ Ozzfest 2000 - Video

Alright, then I'll be a bit more explicit: for me, the guitarist of Pantera, with all due respect, is worth very little compared to Hendrix or Randy Rhoads. These are opinions, of course, but I believe the difference is vast! I didn't understand if Wylde meant by that statement to suggest that in the Olympus of electric guitar there's Hendrix, Rhoads, and the guitarist of Pantera. If that was his intention, I think it's easy to see my perplexity!! Otherwise, I just misunderstood, which I sincerely hope!

absolutely enjoyable album in the genre, I agree with Mista though, not all the songs are top-notch, but some are really well played and deeply felt, in particular the ballad Every Time I Look At You is one of the best of the entire Kiss career. The review is quite well done, but you added a few too many apostrophes!!

Nothing in particular, Aniel, I just didn’t understand if Zakk Wylde's phrase implied that the guitarist from Pantera deserves a place in paradise alongside Randy Rhoads and Hendrix... if that’s the case, it would leave me immensely puzzled, but I probably misunderstood!

More than a review, it seems to me just a clumsy, awkward, post-adolescent attempt to smear a band that has long since earned its place in the history of rock, with an ending worthy of the cheesiest comedies of the '80s! Still, at least it brings a smile!

The review is quite well done, but I've never liked Pantera. As for Zakk Wylde's statement... it leaves me very, very perplexed, but I won't add more, it's better that way!

There is no shadow of a doubt, but in fact my speech was absolutely far from a comparison!!!!!

I completely agree with you! But I didn't say they should make a photocopy of those Rainbow (also because I believe it's materially impossible; that band has reached heights that are unattainable both technically and compositionally). Rather, it would do them well to take them as a model in their musical reality; in my humble opinion, they would gain a lot in terms of quality, also highlighting the talents of the individuals that perhaps are a bit stifled in a genre that is a bit too ordinary and especially mega-inflated!

Oh, you've really been taking it easy, you haven't written a word! Anyway, at this rate, this site will increasingly find itself boasting "masterpieces" like this review and inevitably lose reviewers who dedicate their time to trying to provide serious and sensible information. All it takes is to simply take a step back and restore the old criteria, Editors, but why don't you want to accept good advice? Jettojet dixit

What a beautiful guitar! Just listen to it being played by Michael Shenker to understand its potential! And then, in some Alcatrazz videos, you can see Malmsteen with a guitar that looks very much like a Flying V (for example, in the cover of Since you've been gone), but I've never understood if it was actually one or if it was a handmade imitation (I say this because the neck, in the final section, seems different from the classic Gibson Flying V!). Ah, I made a little intervention in your group; congratulations, I liked it!
