John Petrucci Suspended Animation

I added a lot of "also" to emphasize the concept!!

I didn't understand what you meant by "leave it, I have all the CDs and DVDs of Vai." If that's the case, then you shouldn't have difficulty understanding that Vai’s live performances are much more brilliant compared to those of the G3. I repeat, Alive in an Ultra World features definitely better pieces played much better; this is an objective fact. As for Malmsteen, he may have made people laugh in certain circumstances, but I also reiterate the concept that the G3 is also about a lot of showmanship. After all, you have to entertain the audience too, so I wouldn't be too surprised by this "playful" aspect. Rather, Petrucci was quite lacking in this regard; he seemed like an express train traveling alone on a separate track—terrible!!

Look, Vai has done much better, listen to Alive in an Ultra World and then we can talk about it again. G3, in general, is more of a phenomenon for the people, so there’s a lot of scene involved, trust me.

I can't help but smile when people say that Petrucci has a great variety of musical approaches and is much more complete than Malmsteen, but where? I see that he always uses nothing but alternate picking at a thousand miles an hour. He went to the G3 to do his little routines; even Malmsteen at the G3 didn't give a thrilling performance, but at least he brought some life to the show. And come on, how can you compare "Far Beyond the Sun," "Black Star," "Evil Eye," "Crying," or "Trilogy Opus Suite" with Petrucci's pieces? There really is no contest. Who will remember Petrucci's solo pieces in 15-20 years? I’m willing to make a bet: almost no one!
Michael Angelo Hands Without Shadows
Voto:
Ritchie Blackmore and Randy Rhoads are true guitar masters and have left behind real music. Angelo is fine for a night at the circus and to have a few laughs, even though I imagine this CD won’t even make you laugh, but rather make those who buy it cry!!

@ Axl Rose L.A. but like in another review you say that this album is a huge bullshit and that for you the Guns were over in 1987 and now you're writing that you hope the album comes out soon??? Aside from this little note, this is indeed a "well-written" review!!

Thank you for your response; I will still try to listen to it, especially because Martin's voice (aside from Gilbert's extraordinary guitar) has always fascinated me. Of course, I would very much enjoy another great album in the style of Lean into It, but unfortunately, that era is definitively over!

But how does the guitarist compare to Paul Gilbert? I imagine the answer is almost obvious, but I would like to know what the guitar scores are like, being a fan of Mr. Big!! I enjoyed the review; as always, it's more than good, considering these are very particular and not widely known albums.
Guns N' Roses Live Era '87-'93 (Cd 1)
Voto:
Well, I might go against the trend a bit, but I think the review deserves a solid passing grade; it is certainly somewhat biased, but it’s not poorly written. As for Guns, I believe they played a significant role early in their career by revitalizing hard rock and drawing many people to this genre (myself included in 1988). Nowadays, Axl Rose is a parody of himself, but up until Use Your Illusion II, he produced great music in that style, so why demonize them?

From an interesting discussion, it ended up turning into a talk about Nirvana punkers and communists??? But I’m not quite sure what the point was, who knows...
