Iron Maiden Virtual XI
Voto:
I'm interjecting because we're talking about historic groups: I would place House of the Blue Light and The Battle Rages On instead of Purpendicular (which has only two good songs). The same goes for Slaves and Masters, although it doesn't match the Deep Purple style, but Rainbow is in my opinion a good work unjustly dismissed by critics. For the rest, I haven't followed Iron Maiden and similar groups for many years; in the beginning, they were innovative in the genre, but then...
Megadeth United Abominations
Voto:
The only album by Megadeth that I remember fondly is Rust in Peace, especially because of Marty Friedman’s presence. Now I think they’re largely repetitive, but still a good review, 3.5.
Nuno Bettencourt Schizophonic
Voto:
Very interesting, I haven't listened to the album, but I'm a big fan of Bettencourt and I'm enjoying my brand new N4!! The review is well-crafted and precise, so you deserve a nice score! 4.5
Vanessa Van Basten La Stanza Di Swedenborg

Ibra is strong, but Van Basten is on another planet, there's no comparison!
Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force Odyssey

@ ajeje: I’ll take the first step, I’m sorry if I’ve offended you in any way, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a discussion like this, but in the end, we always come back to the same topics!!! Can I ask you something: is a certain "momo corse" by any chance related to you? If you didn’t have a different nickname, I swear you’d be the same person!!! One last question: is there anything by Yngwie Malmsteen that you would save from his entire career? There must be at least one piece, just one, a phrase that you "like"!!! Bye jet

I can understand that a blues purist might not appreciate a version of Red House by Malmsteen, which is not exactly blues. Gary Moore offers a traditional interpretation that I still find excellent, but in terms of personal engagement and playing style, it is clear that for me Yngwie's version is well above.

Voto:
Gary Moore is really good, great touch, sound, and in blues, he is certainly more skilled than Malmsteen, but it doesn't seem like a good argument to discredit the Swede. Everyone has their own area in which they express themselves better; if you put Gary Moore in a neoclassical setting, he would probably play it well too, but compared to Malmsteen, it would be a chasm away!

But what itch, do you really think that your opinion about Malmsteen stirs any significant reaction in me? How amusing, your narcissism borders on the pathological!!!

No, this is the ugly part, or tragic if you prefer. With these premises, what do you expect? That others will engage in dialogue with you? Please, read a bit of philosophy to understand what dialogue really is! Ah, at the rotisserie they definitely communicate, often with answers more effective than yours. As for the two subjects I would listen to, well, you're not very knowledgeable in math either!!

Among "normal" people, we talk without insulting the music that others enjoy, so your argument makes no sense and cannot be rebutted, except with more insults, which I have kindly avoided, since that's not my style! I simply pointed out your mental "closure," which clearly itches you, so let's scratch it together hehe.
