Congratulations, I remember these a little, but your thoroughness and undeniable style are very enticing. Well done!

I didn't like this, it seems to me that they've really emptied themselves... the same "leaving new york," while seductive, seems a bit forced to me. Tracks like "outsider" and "wonderlust" frankly seem lacking in clarity. On the other hand, I absolutely love "reveal," in my opinion their album of maturity. Songs like "the lifting," "disappear," "I'll take the rain" are among the best things they've ever done, very varied and complex, even within the classic R.E.M. structure. De gustibus! Great review.
