Manowar Kings Of Metal

Your comment would make a lot of sense if the attitude of Manowar weren't explicitly provocative and flirtatious…
And aside from biases, the album is definitely of quality, although not worthy of the legend like the others you mentioned (Painkiller aside).

Sorry, but you keep forgetting Doro Pesch, what the heck!
The aggressive female metal vocals are her, nothing compared to this Freeman here...

I love this album, really. And what a wonderful review, you absolutely nailed it.
Just one note. In my opinion, Gon 2 far is by far better in the Rough Dreams version. Here it seems a bit ruined...

Alright, subjectivity and all that...
But it cannot be absolutized.
Subjectivity reaches a certain point. One cannot arrive at a definitive truth, of course, but even in the realm of beauty, there is room for objective discussions.

Well, from your review I perceived it as a B-grade Virgin Steele...
While in my opinion it's just a step below Invictus. At least on par with this marriage I...

Great review, maybe a bit long, I love this album, but 5 seems a bit excessive, at this point what would you give Invictus, sorry? You can't tell me this is on par with the MASTERPIECE. Anyway, I wanted to write them myself, but since I'm lazy and I see you're more on point than I am, I’ll let you take the reins on Marriage II and Invictus :P But I'm getting ready on the rest! Together we’ll pull out the entire discography... (oh, I don’t share your opinion on life among the ruins... I find it a masterpiece...)

I highly recommend the first two albums, then! Everything positive you found in this one is greatly amplified in the first two!

Well, it seems to me that they have a remarkable personality... They aren't too much slaves to the eighties sound and they have a songwriting that’s fairly debut-worthy... Nothing mind-blowing, so it’s not like you can expect a masterpiece on their first album...
I repeat, Freeman's voice doesn't seem powerful at all... I too mistook it for a man's, but that simply means she has a masculine tone... She is aggressive, perhaps too much! A great singer doesn’t need to get so angry to get noticed...
Maybe it's true that if it weren't for Freeman, the press wouldn't have given this album so much weight, but I personally would, in fact, maybe I would have given it even more. I find Freeman to be the only real fall from grace of Uncreation. Incredibly tacky.

It seems to me that the support from the critics is not so far-fetched...
They sound VERY good, and they play beautiful songs, certainly nothing masterful, but also nothing that falls flat.
For a debut album, it's really remarkable. I share the accolades that followed the release of the record.
I don't understand why everyone says that the strong point is Freeman's voice... It doesn't say anything to me...

Certainly! Especially in the early albums...
