Exciting film, but to be honest, I don't remember anything about the soundtrack... Anyway, great review.
Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Sinfonia n.°5 in re minore, Op107 "La Riforma"

I do not hide, instead, that I have always had a soft spot for good Felix. It may also be because his undisputed merit in rediscovering Bach makes him more likable to me, but I have always appreciated in his compositions a care, a complexity, and a depth often overshadowed by the immediate lyricism of his most successful themes. And I have always wondered about the reasons for the stubborn fossilization in the performance (both on record and in concert) of the usual symphonies No. 3 and 4, the Violin Concerto, the Overture to "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and the indifference that accompanies the here excellently reviewed Symphony No. 5, or even more the deeply moving No. 2 "Hymn of Prayer," with the transcendent power of its inspired choral, or finally the Overture "The Hebrides" ("Fingal's Cave"), Nordic and fairy-tale-like, the splendid Octet, and the "Lieder Ohne Worte." Recently noteworthy is the rediscovery of the complete piano works of Mendelssohn by Roberto Prosseda. As for the performance, I have not heard Bernstein's, but I do have this box set by Abbado, and I think the service that the Divine Claudio provides to good Felix is unmatched by anyone. Bravo Mad Pianist.

Music that becomes powerful and unforgettable when combined with images; perhaps decontextualized, it loses intensity, yet remains a delightful little gem. Beautiful review, warm and passionate.

Beautiful, another review steeped in twilight humor, from a torrid and exhausting early summer, from "let me disconnect everything"... What can I say, I want the album and the satin mini with a female human being inside, all curves, sinuous, slithering to the beat.

The metropolitan spleen that permeates the entire review is irresistible, the album entices like never before and an unquenchable desire to tell off calendars, clocks, and various commitments has materialized within me. Beautiful Hal.

There are hordes of groups and singers, both Italian and international, who cannot boast an album with a title as drastically resounding...CO' BULLU! Infinito Brigantony!

Absolute masterpiece! I want to immerse myself instantly with a bordeaux Sphere (pardon, boddò), or a lowered Uno Turbo, the top piece of the acetate tracksuit and every kind of vulgarity in my mouth... a great moment of nostalgia!

Unmissable! His cassettes in the car, at full volume, with the window down, were the essential equipment for every living being in Eastern Sicily. I have tears in my eyes...
