Tom Waits Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards

I've been listening to it for about ten days as well, and I must say I still can't find any weak points in this triple meatball. It could be the excitement for the novelty, or the meticulously crafted packaging, or the sepia photos, but it all seems beautiful to me. A complete, thorough, and passionate review.

Excellent, really! I've never heard of Alessandro Ducoli, but in this crazy outing, there are important names in Italian jazz.

A thought for the brilliant filmmaker who gifted us Nashville, M.A.S.H., Gosford Park, and many other masterpieces.

Essential for understanding much of the subsequent music. A concise yet incredibly focused review, absolutely on point regarding the specific musical material it describes. Note: prolonged and intensive viewing of the cover may cause cataracts.
Richard Wagner Tristano e Isotta

Wonderful, exciting, captivating review for the work containing the deadliest mix of inspiration and feeling in the history of melodrama. It's true, Riccardo tends to overflow in length, but almost no one can hit the heart like he does: how can one not have their soul torn apart by the anguished scream of his violins, the nobility of his horns, the muted tones of his violas, cellos, and double basses... Tristan is an emotional experience with few equals, but in my opinion, the absolute peak of Wagner’s art is reached with Parsifal: when the moving theme of the Grail echoes, I believe even God smiles in satisfaction up there. I close my ramblings by once again congratulating my alter ego and recommending a beautiful DVD version of the Tristan wonderfully conducted by Barenboim with the orchestra of the Bayerische Staatsoper: unmissable if only for the intense and magnificent Isolde of Waltraud Meier, a pure Wagnerian voice.
