It really seems like something extremely delicate, refined, and elegant, just like the review that describes it.
Antonín Dvořák Sinfonia n° 9 "Dal Nuovo Mondo"

Oops, I almost forgot: next to the Karajan-Berliner executive totem, I add the version of the same Berliners led by Kubelik, which is absolutely interesting and deserving of the highest consideration. Bai bai.
Antonín Dvořák Sinfonia n° 9 "Dal Nuovo Mondo"

Among my absolute favorite symphonies is this Ninth by the Bohemian composer: with each listening, I am increasingly amazed at how it was possible to condense such a wealth of themes and ideas—so joyful, singable, irresistibly immediate—into four movements. High-level greatness (and when is it not?), with appropriate and clear remarks aimed at dispelling the most banal clichés about composition (I refer to the supposed acquisition of indigenous-American thematic cells, a mistaken belief stemming from the misunderstanding of the Symphony's title, as well explained in the review). Five stars to the max.

You're right, Ethos, I realized that I "overdid it" in the description of the concert and had to shorten a bit on Peer Gynt; a review dedicated to its complete version and not just the Suites, however, could place greater emphasis on this wonderful score. Best regards.
Sabine Meyer Carl Maria von Weber - Clarinet Concertos No.1 & 2 Concertino Op.26
Voto:
Excellent examination of these "romantic" gems by Weber, which are missing from my personal discography, but that I had the chance to appreciate live, astonished by the plethora of technical-executive challenges that permeate them.

I have the acclaimed John Barleycorn from '70, beautiful, even though it's been a while since I listened to it. Great excuse to give them a listen again and to get my hands on this Mr. Fantasy.

It's true, little to nothing is known about these, and I myself am discovering them thanks to you. Compliments

I can’t stand singer-songwriters much, but I really enjoy Grass ;-)
Igor Fëdorovič Stravinskij La Sagra della Primavera

Everything is beautiful, reviews and comments. The Sagra is the point of no return for 20th-century music: after it, every concept, idea, and innovation will have a new parameter for evaluation and a different model to relate to in order to progress.
