Billy Nicholls Would You Believe
Voto:
There would also be Tanz der Lemminge, the Xhol Caravan, Harmonia De Luxe, Zuckerzeit and Sowiesoso by Cluster, Amon Duul v1.0, Electronic Meditation, Picture Music and Blackdance by Schulze....
Don Caballero What Burns Never Returns

So I'll get it, even though I preferred the stoner vibes of the first album to the geometries of the second.

Damn the Loops, pass them to me!
Black Lips Good Bad Not Evil

As far as I've heard (the live shows and a bit here and there), it's a really cool band to listen to and then throw in the trash.
Akron/Family Love Is Simple
Voto:
I take it too. The impression, however, is of facing a very large group that simply makes "good" records. This one in particular (even though the previous two were better and bolder) is beautiful, sincere, melodic, and has a good vibe.

Well, I really hear a lot of Radiohead in some tracks, both in the vocals and elsewhere. I'm talking about this album, not the others. Anyway, in my humble opinion, they haven't made a "must-have" album yet; all very beautiful records, but they don't trigger that impulsive buying urge in me. On the other hand, the latest Angels of Light (I’ve been repeating this everywhere) which features Akron/Family, I bought yes and I’m wearing it out: one of the most beautiful albums in recent years. Haloah

I listened to you yesterday and today and I enjoy you a lot, both as a sound (heavy, obviously amphetamine and crazy), and as an attitude. I agree with the reference to the Melvins and the blues. Super cool cover. As soon as I have a bit of money, I'll definitely buy it.
Neil Young Chrome Dreams II
Voto:
Yeah, I liked it too. But I'll postpone my judgment for later: for now, it seems like one of his many "good albums" with three stars, following in the footsteps of Broken Arrow. Some remarkable tracks and others forgettable, but when has that been a surprise in a Neil Young album? :)

Am I the only one who hears similarities with Radiohead?

Damn, these look unmissable! I'm already downloading, long live Amphetamine Reptile!
