Colour Haze Ewige Blumenkraft
Voto:
Uh, damn. I also wanted to do the Colour Haze. And I would have done this too. The ones before Ewige are too Kyussian/Sabbathian for me. Los Sounds De Krauts is unreachable even from this (which is an amazing record), but maybe because it was the album of discovery.

Minutemen in ballroom(s) dress, you decide.
The Austerity Program Black Madonna

Discone shatters, discone. I've listened to it a few times these days: metallic, dissonant, loud. It really reminds me of the Melvins, and indeed the only thing holding me back from buying it is the lack of a true identity. But maybe it becomes clearer with more listens. On the other hand, I have to confess that Pissed Jeans have really let me down (the usual noise-rock stuff).

For a while, I had Nightlife in my headphones (the one with the owl on the cover), which was really a nice little record. Punk-funk that draws from the Minutemen but has a dancey and impactful attitude. I might investigate further; thanks for reminding me about it. PS: what was the need for the final sentence?
