Thee Silver Mount Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band 13 Blues For Thirteen Moons
Voto:
Necessary, child of our times. Honestly, it’s really ripped my tortelli apart and I had to stop halfway through. Sorry, but I think I have some sort of allergy to what is usually called post-rock (GYBE, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Explosions, etc...) even if, looking closely, this goes a bit further. Instead, I'm rambling about Louisville from Spiderland onward.
AA.VV. Swamp Sessions Vol. 1

Tonight's listening strongly recalls the expansive guitar style of Colour Haze. It's a Los Sounds De Krauts (bowing) in a more experimental and jammy version than it already was. Promoted.

I’m downloading it. As always, thanks for the heads up.
Kraftwerk Kraftwerk 2

A record that's a bit of a blow of experimentalism and noises in the bolas, but it’s been a while since I listened to it. I have the edition with the first two discs together (which, by the way, I think are both out of print), and I remember very little apart from a killer track that I think was called ruckzuk or something like that, I don't feel like checking. Trans Europe Expresso cold? I think it's exciting.
Trouble Manic Frustration

I say: down with Candlemass, long live Trouble (and Saint Vitus, Pentagram, etc. etc.).
Five Horse Johnson The No. 6 Dance

I had missed this one. A beautifully raw little disc without any affectations. I didn’t think you were into the so-called stoner revival as well. By the way, quick tip: Radio Moscow's self-titled album, released last year; it's like Cream and Blue Cheer with a killer sound and groove.

I can't stomach this stuff (same goes for the Incredible String Band). I mean, it's not that I don't like it, but after 10 minutes, I start yawning non-stop. I don't know, folk-prog or whatever you want to call it just isn't for me. For fans of the genre, I think it's a can't-miss gem. Ole, do the folks at Repertoire pay you?
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!
Voto:
You can tell he has been through Grinderman, but it's not as raw and straightforward (the Bad Seeds are a well-oiled machine). A couple of tracks are really catchy (Today's Lesson being my favorite), the single is quite ugly.

I have heard the double "Turn" (it's wave) and the collaboration with Tortoise (beautiful), they seem very different from how you describe them here. They have done a ton of stuff.
