So, the double LP reissue (Second Battle) has just been released and soon they will be releasing the CD version. This is a store that sells all sorts of semi-forgotten German prog stuff: Welcome to Pandoras Box - Second Battle - Early Birds - Mighty Melody I think the record is good and enjoyable, but there’s nothing that elevates it to "forgotten gem" status. I hate to repeat myself, but (still Germans and similar sounds): Night Sun.

Well, this is a more varied album from Left Lane Cruiser. They start at a thousand and stay there until the end. Here, though, there are folk ballads, interludes, and there's clean country. But the recording is dirty, and when he goes for it, he really goes for it. He often sings into a distorted microphone, the sounds, when he wants, are truly gaunt, and the guitar, even if it follows blues clichés, is really battered.

Well! Aurically speaking, the final piece "Deep Forest Green" on the first album (a mega jam with shouting, hand claps, and playful guitars) very much reminds me of the tour-de-force romp by Josefus "Dead Man," even in the vocal tone.
The Sword Gods Of The Earth

I got the first "Age of Winters" because they seemed like a cross between Sleep and Metallica, and the track "Iron Swan" was pretty good. I listened to "Gods of the Earth" twice, and it made me rethink my opinion on the first one; in fact, I would gladly add it to Turbo in the package I have to send you.

Ah, in addition to their Crusher label, this has also been re-released by Meteorcity. Are they making a name for themselves?

The first one had quite caught my attention; they seemed almost like a tribute band to Josefus (whose highlight was actually called "Dead Man"), but they were eccentric enough to leave an impression. This one is much more frayed and imperfect, as you say, but it has its own charm.

Very well, in the meantime I’ll download.

In my opinion, even the debut wasn't great, nor was last year's EP. I don't know, a band that hasn't convinced me. Maybe I should stop listening to albums I don't like.
